Can’t say enough good about Rusty ! Another traveler experiencing crisis along my journey. I managed to limp her in to Osceola, found Oreileys easy so pulled in to get it tested. Then I sought a mechanic to repair it. Although they were busy, he came around the counter to come have a look. He PROPERLY deciphered the code reading, and did his own better one. Took it for a quick spin after asking couple questions. He quickly discerned what had happened and explained. I’m so darn grateful for his kindness and professional knowledge! Alarms were ringing on a Friday afternoon as I quickly pulled off the exit into Osceola. My engine was overheating and we were only half-way to our Kansas City destination, and a good ways from home. I took a chance on Rusty’s, as it was closest repair shop I could find, and boy, am I glad I did. I rolled in at 1:15 Pm in a panic, and in 15 min they had diagnosed the problem (leaking water pump), called and checked on getting the parts, gauged how long it would take to repair, had a reasonable estimate for the work needed, and best of all— kindly agreed to tackle it that afternoon. (When they already had plenty of other work to do.) They miraculously got my car repaired, and us on the road by 5pm on a Friday afternoon. I’m extremely grateful for their service, and kindness in tackling it so quickly. She’s been running great since!
